The obverse of the Austrian 4 Florin 10 Franc features the right facing laureate head of Emperor Franz Joseph I. For 68 years, Emperor Franz Joseph I was the monarch of the Austrian Empire, this was one of modern Europe’s longest reigns. The reverse of the coin features Austrian Coat of Arms and the Imperial Eagle along with the value of the coin ‘4 FL 10 FR’ and the date of mintage.
