Description This Commemorative, 75th Anniversary Walking Liberty Half Dollar is dated 1916. This coin would be referred to as a medallion or round, as it would have been issued by a privately owned mint. The coin has a weight of 16 AVDP, which is the US standard ounce known as avoirdupois ounce, this equates to 14.6 troy ounces. The coin differs between matte and mirrored/frosted finishing. The obverse of the coin features the iconic Lady Liberty draped in the United States of America flag. Inscription reads ‘WALKING LIBERTY 1916-1991′. The reverse of the coin features an Eagle carrying an olive branch and protecting a nest, surrounded by the inscription ’75TH ANNIVERSARY 16AVDP OUNCES .999 SILVER’. This product is preowned. Please note, this is **not** an issue from The US Mint, who normally produce the iconic Eagle coins. All of our silver coins are verified for authenticity by our experienced team. Any coins that fall short of our quality standards are not re-sold. As members of the [BNTA](http://www.bnta.net/) we ensure that our reputation as a reputable dealer of gold and [silver coins](https://www.atsbullion.com/product-category/silver/silver-coins/) and bars is upheld, whether a purchase is for our “best price” or brand new coins.
