This coin would be referred to as a medallion or round, as it would have been issued by a privately owned mint. The coin has a weight of 16 AVDP, which is the US standard ounce known as avoirdupois ounce, this equates to 14.6 troy ounces. The coin differs between matte and mirrored/frosted finishing. The obverse of the coin features the iconic Lady Liberty draped in the United States of America flag. Inscription reads ‘WALKING LIBERTY 1916-1991′.
