Description 30g Gold Panda coins are dated from 2016 to present and minted by China Gold Coin Incorporation. In 2015 the Chinese Mint discontinued one ounce coins and from 2016 onwards the iconic gold Panda has been minted as a 30g coin to accommodate the metric system. The obverse of the coin coin depicts the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, one of China’s most iconic landmarks. The Chinese inscription surrounding the coin reads ‘People’s Republic of China’. The reverse has an annually changing design of the panda, an iconic symbol of China. They have a face value of 500 yuan.
