Description This Proof Britannia four coin set, dated 2009, bears a new reverse design. The set is made up of one ounce, half ounce, quarter ounce and one tenth ounce. The new design, by Philip Nathan, adapts the 1997 design of a Boudicca-like Britannia. Britannia is standing proud in her horse-drawn chariot framed with the ‘Romanesque-style’ border. The obverse of the coins feature Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. This proof Britannia 2009 four coin set comes with original Royal Mint boxes, a certificate of authenticity and plastic capsule for each coin.
