This Pre-Owned Pinehurst Leonidas 1oz Silver Round was the tenth release in the 'Legendary Warriors' series, showcasing some of the most famous warriors from history and legend. The reverse side of the fine silver round features a detailed design showing Leonidas standing with his Spartan soldiers, wearing a helmet and armour and holding a sword and shield. The obverse of the round bears a bundle of weapons to represent the 'Legendary Warriors' series. The round's weight and fineness also appear. - Contains 1 troy ounce of 999.0 fine silver. - Manufactured by Silvertowne Mint, USA. - Struck to a bullion finish. - Tenth in the 'Legendary Warriors' series. Leonidas I was the legendary king of Sparta who famously led a small force of 300 Spartans against the vast Persian army at the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BCE.
