This Pre-Owned Pinehurst Hannibal 1oz Silver Round is the ninth release in the 'Legendary Warriors' series showcasing some of the most famous warriors from history and legend. The reverse side of the fine silver round features a detailed design showing Hannibal standing in the midst of the ruins of an ancient city. He is depicted wearing armour and a fur cloak, and holding a trident. The obverse of the round bears a bundle of weapons to represent the 'Legendary Warriors' series. The round's weight and fineness also appear. - Contains 1 troy ounce of 999.0 fine silver. - Manufactured by Silvertowne Mint, USA. - Struck to a bullion finish. - Ninth in the 'Legendary Warriors' series. Hannibal was a Carthaginian miltary commander whose daring tactics and strategic brilliance during the Second Punic War made him one of the most formidable opponents Rome ever faced. Most famously, he led a massive army on a perilous journey across the Alps to launch a surprise attack on Italy. Despite ultimately being defeated, he is remembered today as one of history’s greatest military minds. Silver is subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%.
