Wearing an elaborate feathered headdress and adorned with skull motifs, roses, and golden ornaments, she embodies both beauty and mortality. Her painted face recalls the *calavera* tradition, while she tenderly holds a human skull, symbolizing the eternal bond between life and death. The scene highlights every detail in high relief with selective coloring, enhancing the powerful aura of this mythical figure rooted in Aztec culture and still celebrated today across Mexico during the Day of the Dead. On the reverse, a majestic altar skull dominates the composition, surrounded by flowers, candles, and skeletons celebrating with music and dance. At its center, a clock frames the denomination, reminding us of the inexorable passage of time and the celebration of life in the face of death. The coin number is engraved on the edge.
