Collectable gold proof Rhodesian 10 Shillings from 1966, struck in 22-carat gold by the South African Mint for the Rhodesian Reserve Bank. Only 6,000 of these proof 10s coins were authorised for issue in 1966, with many included in three-coin proof sets. They were commissioned not long after the white separatist minority government had declared independence in November 1965. - These coins were struck to the same specifications as British Half Sovereigns - The obverse displays the second definitive coin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Arnold Machin - The sable antelope reverse was designed by South African medallist Thomas Sasseen System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
