This five ounce silver coin features the White Horse of Hanover: a Georgian addition to the stable of heraldic creatures that feature in The Royal Mint’s Queen’s Beasts series. Inspired by the real and mythological animals that appear on the coats of Her Majesty the Queen’s royal and noble ancestors. The Griffin was closely associated with Plantagenet king Edward III and it’s an image of his birthplace - Windsor Castle - that appears on the shield that this beast clutches. Struck on 156.295 grams of 999 silver, this proof coin has a face value of £10. It’s from a limited edition presentation of just 205 and comes with its numbered certificate of authenticity in its original packaging from The Royal Mint. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
