On this collectable coin, Philip Nathan's classic 'standing Britannia' design is encircled by an ornate oriental border, fusing British and Chinese cultural traditions. This motif was inspired by Chinese-themed interiors at the Royal Pavilion, Brighton and Buckingham Palace, London. These 2019 oriental Britannias are from a limited mintage of 50,000. The obverse features Jody Clark's fifth and final portrait of Her Majesty the Queen against a guilloche background, a security feature used by The Royal Mint for its premium bullion coins.
