Low mintage silver proof 2017 Britannia with anniversary UK map reverse design. 2017 marked the 20th anniversary of the silver Britannia series, and The Royal Mint celebrated the occasion with an unusual one-year-only reverse design, authorised for use only on proof coins. The work of art student Louis Tamlyn, which shows Britannia in the form of a map of the United Kingdom, holding a shield and a trident. A tiny trident privy mark bears the number 20. It's a unique and popular design, paired on this coin with Jody Clark's effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. This five-ounce coin is struck in solid 999 silver with a proof finish. From a limited edition presentation of 669, this 2017 £10 coin is supplied in the original Royal Mint presentation case, complete with a numbered certificate of authenticity.
