Secure a 2016 one ounce silver brilliant uncirculated Britannia, struck by The Royal Mint. These BU editions are produced in far lower numbers than bullion investment coins, making them highly sought after by collectors. In 2016, just 3,901 examples were issued, each packaged in a slim box and paired with a numbered certificate of authenticity. The reverse shows Philip Nathan's celebrated image of Britannia, standing firm against the wind with shield, trident, and olive branch in hand, a design first introduced for the inaugural Britannia coins of 1987. Unlike the bullion version, the brilliant uncirculated strike displays a uniform mirrored finish, giving the coin a distinctive proof-like appearance.
