Formed in the early 60s, The Who have now sold more than 100 million records worldwide in a career spanning six decades. They’re known for singles like My Generation and Baba O’Riley, pioneering rock operas like Tommy and Quadrophenia, paired with an electric stage presence that shaped punk, metal, power pop and progressive rock. Their instantly recognisable bullseye logo features on the reverse of this coin in a design crafted by Henry Gray alongside a Rickenbacker guitar with a Union Jack motif and a pair of pinball machine flippers, a ball speeding down the neck. The design on this limited edition collectible coin is enhanced with a shockwave effect that emits from the logo. With a face value of £200, this pre-owned coin is struck in 62.42 grams of 999.9 fine gold with a beautiful proof finish.
