Celebrate a mythical symbol of Tudor power with this 2019 Yale of Beaufort 1oz gold proof coin, the sixth release in The Royal Mint's Queen's Beasts series. Inspired by the statues that guarded Westminster Abbey at Queen Elizabeth II's coronation, this range unites heraldry and history in masterful designs by Jody Clark. The yale - a fantastical creature with horns, tusks, and a spotted body - was used by the Beaufort family and later adopted by the Tudors. On this coin's reverse, it supports a shield bearing the Beaufort portcullis, an enduring emblem of legitimacy and authority. Struck in one troy ounce of 24-carat gold to impeccable proof quality, this £100 coin was issued in 2019 as part of a limited edition of 400. We'll supply this coin in its original Royal Mint display case with a numbered certificate of authenticity. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
