2014 Chinese Year of the Horse 1oz silver coin - the first release in the Royal Mint's Shēngxiào series. This proof equine edition celebrates the seventh animal of the Chinese Zodiac, which is said to produce outgoing and personable leaders for those born in its year. This is complemented by Ian Rank-Broadley's definitive effigy of Elizabeth II to obverse. The Mint struck this 38.61 millimetre coin in .999 fine silver to its gleaming proof quality, achieving a gross weight of 31.21 grams.
