The first yellow gold bullion Quarter Sovereign, enhanced with brand-new security features. For the last few decades, The Royal Mint has struck coins in its flagship Sovereign range from 22-carat rose gold. From 2026, a yellow-gold alloy will be used, inspired by historic Sovereigns and newly introduced to the Quarter Sovereign series, which began in 2009. These 2026 coins also benefit from advanced anti-counterfeiting measures integrated into the coin's design. The reverse showcases Benedetto Pistrucci's iconic Saint George motif, enhanced with micro-text, while the obverse features Martin Jennings' official portrait of King Charles III, incorporating a latent image security device and a textured background. A key piece for any Quarter Sovereign stack. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
