2026 Ian Rank-Broadley Effigy Two Ounce Gold Proof Portraits Of A Queen Coin
A tribute to Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, struck in two ounces of solid 9999 gold. This exclusive addition to The Royal Mint's Portraits of a Queen collection features the British sculptor's tiara-wearing effigy of Her Majesty, introduced in 1998 and used on UK currency until 2015. The realistic, mature effigy is still seen in circulation and has been remastered for this premium release by the Mint's Chief Engraver, Gordon Summers. It's the fourth piece in the range, which charts Queen Elizabeth's long reign through the five official portraits used on her coinage. This 2oz £200 gold proof edition is only available from The Britannia Coin Company and is by far the scarcest size in the range, with only 35 pieces struck for sale worldwide.
