A pair of UK Fifty Pence coins gathered in celebration of the mother and son successive monarchs: Elizabeth II & Charles III. Each is an example of the first Fifty Pence to hold their respective monarch, and the Charles III inclusion is here struck to brilliant uncirculated quality. The Elizabeth II 50p, being a 1969 Fifty Pence, has a specification held by these older, larger coins. Therefore, instead of the 8.00 grams for the 2023 50p, the 1969 Elizabeth II coin is struck in 13.50 grams of cupronickel. The obverse effigies of Elizabeth II and Charles III are definitive designs by Arnold Machin and Martin Jennings respectively. These are joined by Christopher Ironside's Britannia on the 1969 coin, complimented by a reverse design inspired by the 1953 coronation on the Charles III coin. This presentation is one of only 1.948 (Charles' birth year) editions and has since become unavailable from the Mint. It is offered here in like-new condition and complete with the original commemorative folder. System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String] System.Threading.Tasks.Task`1[System.String]
