1985 Guernsey Brilliant Uncirculated Annual Coin Set
1985 Guernsey brilliant uncirculated coin collection, from The Royal Mint. The Bailiwick of Guernsey is a British Crown Dependency and, in 1985, commissioned The Royal Mint to produce an all-inclusive set of its own decimal coinage with reverse designs by Robert Elderton. The 1985 set includes denominations from One Penny to One Pound, each featuring a design representing a key industry of Guernsey. These include floral features on the 50p and 10p, and the nautical theme found on the 1p and 5p. These are brilliant uncirculated coins struck in base metal alloy and are legal tender in the Bailiwick. The obverse bears Elizabeth II's portrait, with a collectable inclusion of the Bailiwick's crest. Included with your pre-owned Guernsey set is the original presentation folder for the 1985 edition.
