Celebrating one of the most recognisable coinage portraits of Queen Elizabeth II's reign, this brilliant uncirculated Arnold Machin effigy £5 coin is part of The Royal Mint's Portraits of a Queen collection. Machin's refined bust of The Queen was introduced to UK coinage following decimalisation in 1971 and portrays Her Majesty wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara. The effigy remained in use until 1984 and is here remastered and set against a striking radial sunburst background, complemented by Martin Jennings' likeness of King Charles III on the obverse. Struck to brilliant uncirculated standard, this Five Pound coin is a celebration of Elizabeth II's enduring legacy.
