Classic British rock band The Who are celebrated in this UK Five Pound Crown. The Royal Mint welcomed The Who to their exclusive Music Legends series in 2021 and this BU £5 is a striking way to celebrate one of the world's greatest live acts. Expert coin designer Henry Gray uses an iconic Who tune - Pinball Wizard - as the inspiration for the reverse. A Rickenbacker guitar, famously used and abused by co-founder Pete Townshend, houses a mirrored pinball and flippers. The guitar smashes a speaker to reveal The Who's iconic mod logo. Occupying the obverse is Jody Clark's portrait of Elizabeth II - her final definitive effigy. This is a brilliant uncirculated coin composed of 28.28 grams of cupronickel alloy. The 38.61 millimetre diameter electrifies this collectable UK Music Legends coin. While no longer available from the Mint, your pre-owned coin ships in the original folder complete with the band's rock 'n' roll history.
