The 2013 Silver Panda, struck and distributed by China, is the first in the collectable series of solid silver coins to feature a trio of the national animal. The reverse, exclusive to 2013, shows the giant pandas drinking by a bamboo-surrounded pool. Collectors of the series are aware that the shared obverse features the Hall of Prayer, located in Beijing. The coin offers one troy ounce of pure silver content and is struck in an alloy of .999 purity. This example is one of the final to adhere to the troy ounce system, as the series soon adopted the metric system. In total, 8,000,000 bulk uncirculated, standard editions of the 2013 1oz Panda were struck. Yours is pre-owned and enjoys our low premiums for collectable world silver.
