The obverse of the coin features an exquisitely detailed colourised design showing a Chinese dragon chasing a flaming pearl. The traditional Chinese character for 'Dragon' also appears, along with the inscription ‘Dragon 2024’, and the Perth Mint’s ‘P125’ mintmark. The reverse of the coin bears Jody Clark's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, with the years of her reign shown above.
