1917 Sovereign PCGS MS63
I’ve been cleaned out of the rare date George V sovereigns these last six or so months, so I was happy to secure a high-grade example of this key George V date, the 1917 London sovereign. Extremely rare in any grade, with fewer than 20 examples certified by PCGS, this piece is nice for the grade, and free from marks, edge knocks, or unattractive toning. One of only three examples I’ve handled since 2007. RARE. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
