1908 Sovereign PCGS MS63
All British sovereigns of Edward VII are common, but some are more common than others. The 1908 sovereign is the fourth most common sovereign in the series, but unlike the other common dates, is hard in mint state grades. Scarce in PCGS MS63 and rare in MS64, the quality-conscious date set collector should aim to acquire an example in MS63 or MS64, while the collector on a budget should need only the minimum amount of patience until he or she finds an example for sale in MS62. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
