1934 Proof Florin PCGS PR63
A darkly-toned original VIP proof from Fiji. Although its mintage is unknown, it is certainly rarer than some early Australian proof coins, such as the proof Canberra florin or proof 1934 florin. (As an aside, both of these coins sell for three times the price of the Fiji proof.) On the whole, this Fiji proof is an extremely difficult coin to obtain, and is only the second piece we have seen on the market since 2012. Ex-Diana Collection, Baldwin’s Auctions, September 2008. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
