1918 Ottawa Sovereign PCGS MS62
Like the 1911-C sovereign and 1917-C sovereign I’ve just listed, the 1918-C has a super low mintage. With only 106,516 produced (many of which have no doubt been destroyed through attrition and mass meltings), the number of coins available to collectors today would number in the low thousands, by my estimates. The number available in Mint State would be even less. A great type coin for your sovereign type set and reasonably scarce. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
