This is the equal-second finest 1966 proof set graded by PCGS (June 2013) with only one set finer. (The twenty cent in that set, owned by a collector on the PCGS Set Registry, is a perfect PR70DCAM). All coins in the set photographed above are graded PR69DCAM with PCGS and are as close to perfect as you can get. The fifty cent and the two cent are particularly scarce, with only four of each graded this nice. With record prices being set in auction for top quality coins at the moment, the set photographed above won’t last long and will sell quickly at this price. Professional Coin Grading Service is the global leader in coin authentication and grading. With over 60 million coins graded and counting, PCGS is trusted by collectors, dealers, and investors to certify authenticity, protect value, and elevate market confidence. This is a direct conversion of the 70-point PCGS grade to a 10-point scale, intended to present the grade in a more intuitive format for newer collectors. It is not our personal opinion or an attempt at regrading the coin to a different standard.
