This 1oz Silver Buffalo Round was minted by Silvertowne Mint. The obverse of each round bears James Earle Fraser's detailed depiction of a Native American, as featured on the famous Buffalo Nickel coin. The reverse of each silver round features an American bison, inspired by Black Diamond, a resident animal of New York's Central Park Zoo in the early 1900s. - Contains 1 troy ounce of 999.0 fine silver. - Manufactured by Silvertowne Mint. - Struck to a bullion finish. - Coin diameter: 39.00mm. Thickness: 2.90mm. **Other Information** The design on the face of this silver round shows a Native American that was created from a combination of the portraits of three native American tribes, Big Tree, Iron Tail, and Two Moons. The reverse side features a buffalo, which is a slightly modified version of the James Earle Fraser Nickel design produced during the early part of 1913. Silver rounds are subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%.
