Thickness: 3.29mm. - Supplied in an Atkinsons plastic coin flip. - Multiples of 25 will be supplied in tubes. - Multiples of 20 tubes will be supplied in a Monster Box. Canadian Maple 1oz Silver coins were first minted in 1988. Though there have been different silver coin designs for commemorative editions of the coin, the Canadian maple leaf has stayed the main focus of the design. As from 2014, the background of the coin has featured radial lines, precisely machined by the Royal Canadian Mint onto their master die. This creates a unique light diffracting pattern which has not been seen on other bullion coins and adds another measure of security. Every 2026 Silver Maple Leaf bullion coin features MINTSHIELD™ Surface Protection, the world’s only proven technique for significantly reducing the appearance of white spots or "milk spots" on silver bullion coins. Weight and purity guaranteed by the Royal Canadian Mint. Silver is subject to VAT at the standard rate of 20%.
