The 2024 St Helena Faerie Queene Una and The Lion 1oz Silver Coin is the second design in the "Faerie Queene" series by the East India Company, and is limited to a mintage of only 5,000 coins worldwide. The reverse of the coin bears a beautifully detailed design by Joel Iskowitz showing Una lying in a meadow reaching out to the lion. The obverse of the coin bears a portrait of King Charles III, with the coin's monetary denomination shown below. - Contains 1 Troy ounce of 999.0 fine silver. - Manufactured by the East India Company. - Struck to a [bullion](https://atkinsonsbullion.com/help-advice/glossary) finish. - Diameter: 38.60mm. - Limited mintage of 5,000. **Other Information** The East India Company's Faerie Queene series of coins is inspired by an English epic poem written by Edmund Spenser, one of the longest poems in the English language and an allegorical work in praise of Queen Elizabeth I. Book one of the poem features Princess Una and her guardian and companion, the lion, representing a strong female monarch harnessing the power of a fearsome beast.
