The obverse of the coin depicts the laureate portrait of George IV and the year-date. - Weighs 3.99g and is struck in 916.7 (22ct) Gold. - Minted by The London Mint in the UK. - Struck to a bullion finish. - VAT free and Capital Gains Tax exempt. - Dimensions - Diameter: 19.30mm, Thickness: 1.00mm. **Other Information:**King George IV's sovereigns have two different portraits - the Laureate Head and the Bare Head. After the issue of Benedetto Pistrucci's Laureate Head portrait, King George then insisted that a new, more flattering portrait was comissioned, resulting in the Bare Head portrait, designed by William Wyon.
