This Pre-Owned 1985 UK £5 Quintuple Sovereign Brilliant Uncirculated Gold Coin features Benedetto Pistrucci's iconic depiction of St George and The Dragon design which appears on most modern sovereigns. A small 'U' mintmark is shown to the left of the coin's year date. The obverse side of the coin features Raphael Maklouf's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. - Weighs 39.94g and is struck in 916.7 (22ct) gold. - Manufactured by The Royal Mint. - Struck to a brilliant uncirculated finish. - VAT free and Capital Gains Tax exempt. - Diameter: 36.02mm. - Supplied in presentation box with certificate of authenticity. Gold £5 coins are also known as Quintuple sovereigns. The small 'U' mintmark on the reverse of the sovereign coin indicates that the coin is struck to a brilliant uncirculated finish.
