1957 Proof Penny polished type PCGS PR62RB
This is the scarcer “polished” variety of the 1957 proof penny, which was struck in 1957 from heavily polished dies to the same standard as the 1955 and 1956 Perth proof pennies. The [brighter varieties](https://www.drakesterling.com/1957-perth-proof-penny-1-2-3 "1957 proof penny"), which resemble the proof Perth pennies from 1958 onward and exhibit a reverse cameo, were struck in 1959. The polished type 1957 penny, as above, is just as rare as the 1955 and 1956 Perth pennies, but trade at half the price. They are good value at current levels, in our view.
